Our 'Digital Twins in Action' will feature six of the regions leading Digital Twin projects, presented as case studies for maximum knowledge sharing.

In this session you will hear case studies from:

Aveva - on unified operations centres, with Michelle Klein
Data61 - on a Framework for Spatially Enabled Digital Twins, and the prototype in South East Queensland it was built upon, with Marie Truelove and Colin Griffith.
PCSG and Queensland Rail - on their Digital Engineering Framework and the development of a connected data environment, with Gavin Cotterill, Colin Mann and Graham Brown.
Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning - on Victoria's Digital Twin proof of concept on Australia's largest urban renewal project (Fishermans Bend), with Dr Adam Mowlam.
KiwiRail - on the Trentham to Upper Hutt BIM Pilot to test the feasibility of a 'fully digitally delivered' project, resulting in a Digital Twin model outcome.

Each case study will include:

Project overview - key attributes, where in the asset lifecycle, key stakeholders
Why a Digital Twin? - what led to the application of a Digital Twin
Twin functionality - connectivity, data integration, visualisation, data analysis, security
Data sets used - which of the five minimum Digital Twin data sets?
Technical characteristics - platform build, sensors deployed, use of standards
Outcomes - value created, lessons learned and next steps

Following the 12min case study presentations a panel discussion will be facilitated to allow audience questions of the projects.
